School, Library and Book store visits

One of the truly awesome things about my job is that I get a chance to talk to kids about what I do. When I was young, writing seemed like an impossible dream. I had undiagnosed ADD, and most people thought I was a scatter brain, including me. When I learned what was going on inside my head, I was sure it was a giant obstacle, but with some guidance. meditation, and a whole to of self acceptance, ADD has turned into a blessing in disguise. Turns out, I’ve got an incredible imagination from all that daydreaming I did as a kid. Telling young people that they can achieve incredible things is the best job in the world, and sharing my stories makes it even better.
